Hi Everyone,
I had a Thoracotomy ,and upper right lobectomy plus all mediastinum lymph nodes removed last august.
I am having swelling of both legs,my neck and my abdomen,,,could this possibly be lymphedema?
Thanks

Hi khowgirl
From what you describe and what you had done I would say yes it is a very very strong possibility. Please get to a certified lymphedema therapist ASAP (if not sooner). This needs to be treated just as quickly as possible.
Super welcome to our family here and please don't ever hesitate to ask questions or express concerns.

Thanks for your reply. How can I find a certified doctor in my area, and can I just make an appointment, or must I be referred by another physician?

Hey again
Drop me an email at
lymphedemapeople@aol.com and let me know where you live and I'll see if there isn't a doctor and/or lymphedema therapist that can help.
