help - I have questions

Postby teddiv » Thu Dec 28, 2006 9:02 pm

I am home again as I told you all in my last post but I wonder if anyone has had to deal with a catheter while being treated for cellulitis? They sent me home from the hospital with this one in place and I would love to get it taken out. The problem is that I'm told it can react one of three ways....either you are perfectly normal and able to function; or the sphincter muscle does not close up all the way and you become incontinent; or the muscle spasms and you cannot void at all. In this case they have to put in another but I want to know if there is any other treatment for that condition.

Anybody know anythiing?
