How about Desitin? Is it ok to use daily? On small leaks?

Desitin is a great antibiotic ointment. I don't use it though for small leaks. For those I use baby diaper ointment and cover that area with some gauze - then I do the compression bandages.
I've used Desitin for many many years. There is this silly thing going around on lymph groups that we shouldn't use it as some people have reacted to it. Geezzzz....think how many people have reacted to simple aspirin.
If you've used it, and know you don't react to it, then why stop using it?
If you know you will react, then just don't use it.
LOL....such a simple concept.

Pat, can I just say how thankful I am for you? I know that no matter what my question, you are going to have a kind, common sensical (is that a word???), quick and informed response. I am truly sorry for all you have suffered, but I am so grateful you have used those experiences to help others. You inspire me to be a more patient wife and caregiver. Thank you---Brenda
