Does anyone know of a good link or video that trains you on how to do a good massage for lymphedema in the leg? I have been using some techniques I found on this website but I kind of have trouble following the instructions at times. I just can't figure out the hand placement without a diagram. I have it in my feet and ankle.

Hi Tim,
See if this can help you:
http://www.nwlymphedemacenter.org/vid_mngmntA.phpAfter opening up the lymphchannels on the neck, in the armpits and on the lower belly I do a number of strokes on the thigh first, then from just below the knee and up and finally all the way from the foot. This way you sort of clear a path for the fluid. After this many therapists believe in the "opening up" ritual again. I usually do some deep breating in between the various bits.
