There is a great DVD now ! Previously, I had checked out many of the Instructional DVDs available and had been really disappointed. The instructors leave out steps in most cases - especially when it comes to the self MLD. This instruction is different - Lorraine Love-Joy Evans is the instructor and she really explains it all step by step and very clearly. The DVD is put out by North American Rehab. 1-800-845-6050 in Seattle, Washington.
http://www.northamericanrehab.com The DVD covers the arms and legs. If you have questions, give them a call - they are very friendly and helpful.

It is probably worth mentioning that there is a substantial number of videos being posted online these days, explaining numerous aspects of manual lymphatic drainage and compression wrapping techniques for the DIY-er. You can check out youtube. Of course there is no substitute for the advice of a professional. In one or two visits with a certified therapist you should be able to learn many of the techniques applicable to your specific circumstance. If you're interested in a small free starter video, we posted a 5 min video on our website showing some of the massage strokes that are performed at the neck. This basic series should be helpful for all individuals with Lymphedema, regardless of where. You can view it at

Great info Pat! I agree, as with everything you read or see on the internet, it's best to check for appropriate credentials before taking advice.
Best,
Ryan
